Swedish flooring solutions for all of Europe
Giha started its journey in Hultsfred and has since grown into an international player. Over the years, we have been a key partner in the development of innovative solutions for major players such as IKEA (formerly Swedspan). Our ability to create unique, patented systems means that our solutions are now found in everything from Swedish homes to large complexes in Switzerland, Spain and the Baltics.
Our expertise spans across the Nordic region and Europe, where we deliver project-adapted systems that meet specific national requirements. With production in Varberg and a strong tradition of Småland ingenuity, we continue to export Swedish engineering to solve complex flooring challenges on a global market, always with the same personal commitment to each individual customer.
Environmentally conscious design for the future
Sustainability is at the core of our product development. We take overall responsibility for the environment and working conditions throughout the entire chain – from the selection of Swan-labelled and FSC-approved chipboard to optimised logistics that reduce the need for transport.
By designing systems with fewer components, we not only save on materials but also improve ergonomics for our fitters. We operate within a natural cycle where recycling and the use of 100% green electricity are the obvious choices.
From drawing to technical calculation
Successful flooring installation begins with meticulous planning. We assist our clients with everything from technical calculations to complete documentation prior to the start of construction.
By involving us early in the process, we can optimise the floor system according to the building's specific conditions. Whether it concerns calculating acoustic classes according to Swedish standards or dimensioning ventilation ducts for optimal moisture removal. We transform complex drawings into efficient and ready-to-assemble solutions.
Innovation for healthy indoor environments
We never stop developing. Our focus is on producing intelligent systems that solve real-world problems, such as damp, mould, and radon. Through close collaboration with research institutes like RISE (formerly SP), we have developed the market's first P-marked ventilation floor slab.
