Giha Flooring Systems – 25 years of Swedish innovation

AB Giha Golvsystem's journey began over 25 years ago in Hultsfred, under the name Hultsfreds Industrisnickeri. Since moving to Varberg in 1999, we have continued to develop and produce market-leading flooring systems with a focus on function, quality, and the environment. Our commitment has been recognised with the "Länets företagare" (County Entrepreneur) award in 2023, a testament to our innovative strength within the carpentry industry. We also hold the highest credit rating (AAA) according to UC, providing our customers and partners with added security that we are a stable and reliable business partner over time.

Our technical expertise is confirmed by the fact that we were the first on the market with a P-marked ventilation floor, certified by RISE (formerly SP). This marking guarantees that our systems are reviewed and approved according to strict quality requirements. We are also proud that our products are eco-labelled with the Swan and FSC, as well as approved in Sunda Hus, Basta and Byggvarubedömningen. Over the years, we have achieved the highest growth class in Sweden and have been awarded a triple V-rating, placing us among the country's most successful limited companies in our industry.

Our Journey and Future

Giha is fundamentally a family business, founded by Göran and Agneta Carlsson. With roots in Småland's craft tradition, we have grown into an international player delivering patented solutions across the Nordics and large parts of Europe, including Spain, Switzerland, and the Baltics. Our close collaboration with partners such as WSP and previously Swedspan (IKEA) has laid the foundation for the smart constructions we sell today. We continue to look ahead and develop the next generation of flooring systems for healthy and sustainable indoor environments.
